In the Assembly the report of the Royal Commission regarding Mr. Griffiths's administration Was tabled. It is to the effect that though Mr. Henley's speech in the House suggested charges of dishonesty and corruption against Mr. Griffiths, neither Mr. Henley nor Mr. Parkes was prepared to bring evidence supporting any such charges. Further, since there was no evidence at all in support of such charges, the commissioner had no option but to report accordingly.
