THE EGMONT SEAT.

Notwithstanding the value of our dairy products and the importance of the dairy farming industry in the Dominion, it is an extraordinary fact that there is not one member of Parliament who is a dairy farmer. This circumstance was referred to by Mr. Astbury during his address at Awatuna on Monday, when he stated that if he were -returned he would he the only dairy farmer in Parliament.—(Contributed.)
