Selby, an accountant, living at Malvern. was roused by a noice and chased a burglar from his house into the yard, where a severe struggle with the intruder ensued. The burglar stabbed Selbv in the back and escaped. The wound is not serious. Selby was weak through loss oi blood. The burglar left his overcoat behind him and this afforded a clue to the police, who arrested a youth named Gibson.
