ffRAM CONDUCTOR KILLED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 5, 11.15 p.m. Rome, September 5. A tram conductor at Genoa followed three men who failed to pay their fares. One of the latter shot the conductor dead. The police pursued the men, and forty revolver ehots were exchanged, one of the fugitives being killed, whilst two policemen and five others were wounded. The remaining murderers were arrested, and the crowd attempted to lynch them.
