AUCKLAND v. OTAGO. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Tuesday: The Rugby team to play against Otago will be the same as defeated Wellington and Taranaki, with the exception that Hall, tyho is unable to play, will be replaced by Walsh. TARANAKI v. OTAGO. What should prove an interesting contest is billed for liawera this afternoon, when Taranaki will meet Otago. The lcaal representatives have undergone so many vicissitudes this season on the .football field that the match is exciting no small amount of interest. Taranaki beam will be the same as published a few days ago, with the exception of Hawkins, who is unable to make the trip. A southern forward will take his place. As a recognition of his brilliant performance in notching the four tries in the match against Wellington, the Auckland three-quarter, V. J. Macky, wag on Saturday evening presented with one of the balls used in the match, which bore the signatures of the whole of both teams, the manager of the Wellington team, and the officials of the Auckland Rugby Union.
