AMERICAN TOWN DESTROYED. RELIEF TRAIN DERAILED. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. New York. September 2. A disastrous lire wiped out the business district of Butte, Montana. A special train, summoned from Anaconda, was derailed while rushing to bring assistance. The engineer and fireman were killed, and the train was wrecked. Some burned buildings collapsed and burned the chief of the lire brigade, who, when rescued, was paralysed, and afterwards succumbed. Other firemen were seriously injured. Extensive damage was done before the lire was conquered.
