THE PRICE OF FOOD. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Received .'lO, 9.20 p.m. Sydney, August 29. The Labor Council adopted a resolution that in view of the high prices of meat, wheat, potatoes, onions and butter. the import duties should be removed. A supporter of the motion declared that the meat combine would not allow New Zealand produce to enter Australia. The mover of the resolution said it gave the tru-l the further work of cornering New Zealand supplies.
