THE FUNERAL CEREMONY. A PICTURESQUE SCENE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, August 211. A vast concourse from headquarters were at Abney Park, and witnessed General Booth's funeral. The cortege was a mile long, anil included 48 brigades of Salvationists, and representatives from all parts of the world. The funeral was picturesque and impressive. Forty tjands played funeral marches. The Act-ing-Lord .Mayor saluted when the hearse passed the Mansion House. SYDNEY MEMORIAL SERVICE. Sydney, August 30. There was a great and representative gathering at the Booth memorial service in the Town Hall last night. It included the Premier, the Admiral, the Lord Mayor, and the heads of various churches. The Governor was unable to attend, but he was officially represented. Many glowing tributes were paid to the late General. THE GENERAL'S WILL. Received 30, 2.10 p.m. London, August 29. General Booth left private property valued at £487, which he bequeathed to the Army, except a few articles as mementos to each of his children and their wives and husbands. He divides among his children, Bramwell, Catharine, Marian, Herbert, Eva and Lucy, property valued at £5295, representing a sum settled on him by the late Henry Reed for his private use, enabling him to forego all remuneration from the Army Fund. He vests all Army property trusts in Mr. Bramwell Booth.
