Mails will close (subject to alterations! at.the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth, as under:— For Auckland and North, Tuesdays and Fridays, at 7 p.m., and daily per mail train at 6.15 a.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices, daily, at <3.15 a.m., 12.20 p.m. and 3.55 p.m. For Wellington and South—6.ls a.m. and 1250 p.m. daily. FRIDAY, AUGUST 30. For Tasmania, via Bluff (per s.s. Manuka), at 6.15 a.m. SATURDAY, AUGUST 31. For Australian States and South Africa, via Auckland, at G. 15 a.m. Unless otherwise specified, Money Orders close one hour before the ordinviy mail. A. P. DRYDEN, Chief Postmaster.
