•LAND AGENTS' REGISTRATION. By Telegraph—Own Correspondent. Wellington, Last Night. The Government has decided to adopt as a Government measure Mr, George Witty's Land Agents' Registration Bill, which seeks to impose a license fee and to impose control upon persons carrying on the business of a land agency. The measure is at present before the Lands Committee, which has taken evidence regarding its provisions, and will shortly report in regard to suggested amendments. Mr. Witty first introduced the Bill in 1904, and "has, with few exceptions, endeavored every session since that time to secure its adoption. On several occasions the House read the Bill a second time, and some years ago it had fairly good treatment in committee.
