Received 29, 11.15 p.m. London, August 29. Twenty thousand were present at Olympia at the memorial service. Wreaths surrounded General Booth's portrait in front of the platform. The King and Queen Alexandra were speciaajly represented. The Commonwealth was represented by Captain Collins. The Bag which General Booth unfurled at Calvary preceded the coffin, which was borne to the foot of the platform. The chief mourners were Mr. Bramwell Booth and his wife, Mesdames Booth-Helberg, Catharine, Mary and Miriam Booth, and other relatives. The dominant characteristic of the service was a joyous "God would triumph" song of praise. Prayers and scripture reading alternated impressively for two hours. The remains were conveyed to the Army headquarters to •wait the funeral.
