THE GROUNDS OF APPEAL. By Cable.—Press Association—Copyrigkt Sydney. August 27. There is a very strong bar in the Vend ease. " Th« appellants are the, Adelaide Steamship Company, Howard Smith and Co., Iluddart Parker and Co., and Mellwraith, McEiichcrn and Co. The grounds of.appeal include that the alleged wrongful act arose from the Coal Vend agreement, wherewith appellants had nothing to do, and the evidence failed to establish any intent to restrain or control the supply or price of any service of merchandise to the commodity by the appellants or any other defendant.
