PROTEST AGATNST THE EDUCATION BOARD.

By Telegraph. —Press Association. Invereargill, Last Night. The committee of the Invereargill Middle School decided to-night to resign in a body as a. protest against the refusal of the Education Board to supply information asked for. There was a. dispute some time ago between the headmaster and the first assistant of the school, and the Board appointed a commission of inquiry, before which the chairman and members of the school committee gave evidence. The Board now refuses to supply the committee ■with a copy of the commission's finding. The committee claim that, as representa : tives of the householders, they are entitled to information concerning the efficiency of the teaching staff.
