•Special memorial services were held at all Salvationist citadels, and General Booth's favorite hymns were sung. There were many reference- to his life Vfork in other places of worship, including tributes from Canon Xewbolt, at St. Paul s, Prebendary Carlisle, at the tale of Wight, and Father McKenna, at Westminster Cathedral.

TRIBUTES IX THE CHURCHES.
Sydney, August 26. There were many tributes paid in the churches to General Booth yesterday. Melbourne, August 26.
At the memorial service to General Booth at the Exhibition Building those present included the Governor and his wife and Messrs. Fisher and Watts. Commissioner Hay presided. The Governor and Mr. Fisher paid high tributes to the General's influence and work.
Brisbane, August 26.
The Salvationists' memorial service to General Booth was largely attended, and many references were made in the churches to his death.
