THE TURAKINA.
ARRIVAL IN WELLINGTON. By Telefrapk.—Press Awoeiation. Wellington, Saturday. The Turakina, which arrived from London this morning, is the first direct boat to Wellington for two months, owing to disorganisation through the strike. She brought 250 immigrants, 106 males, 104 females, and 50 children. Only 53 were assisted passengers (31 adults and 22 children). All the adults were women coming to rejoin their husbands or to enter domestic service. The voyage wa« uneventful.
