THE HUPEH EXECUTIONS. By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright Received 22, 10.30 p.m. Pekin, August 22. The Assemhly, believing that the impeachment would fail, accepted Yuan-Shi-Kai's proposals to explain the Government's attitude to the Hupeh members. The latter, after hearing the explanation, volunteered to persuade the Assembly not to impeach Yuan-Shi-Kai.
