TARANAKI JOCKEY CLUB. At a meeting of the Metropolitan Committee of the Taranaki Jockey Club .the programme for the North Taranaki Hunt 'Club's annual race meeting, to be held on September 19, was approved subject to a license being granted by the Minister for Internal Affairs. Permission was also given to use the Taranaki Jockey Club's racecourse and to issue emergency riders' certificates on that day. Licenses were granted as follows: Trainers: 0. Cox, C. Jackson, J. Barlow, J. Fryer, .T. W. Clareburt, F. F. Faullo ner, J. F. Butler, R. Barlow, Wm. Elliott, W. F. Mantle, E. Johnson, James O'Neill, and P. W. A. McKoy. Jockeys: E. N. Campbell, R. Barlow, W. H. Copestake, L. Nodder, J. 0. McCarten, F. Holmes, J. Mcintosh, P. Willis, J. H. Graham, and W. J. Andrews. Apprentices: C. E. Fowler and T. H. Fryer. ; Gentlemen riders. A. J. Davey, F. Aubrey, J. T. Wade, L. V. Russell, C. Washer, and G. E. Clout. R. Barlow applied for transfer of apprentice 11. Goldfinch from Milne to himself and to have his name removed from the official calendar. —Refused. The following sub-committees were appointed: Country club programmes: Messrs. Standish, Weston, and Chancy; licenses, Messrs. Lepper, Sole -ind Standisli.
