Israel Abrahams gave evidence that he saw two strangers sell Pritchard -the hag, but did plot notice the mark till Pritchard sent the bag to him to try and get an initial stamped over the' "M" which was already there. He then noticed that the crown had been scratched oil'. The errand was,fruitless and the bag was returned.
