The Daily Telegraph, in an article dealing with the rise in the prices of household commodities during the past twelve months, says that groceries have increased well over 8 per cent., and fruit, vegetables, fish and milk are at considerably enhanced values. It points out that in the past ten years the wages of factory hands increased over 100 per cent.
