MOROCCO.
THE FRAXCO-SPAXISH TREATY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 20, 0.30 p.m. London, August 20. The Times outlines the proposed Franco-Spanish Moroccan treaty. Spain obtains Mount Ghani, near Alcazar, and meets France's demand for compensation by relinquishing the greater part of the southern zone, retaining Efini and a strip of a hundred kilometres of coast-line. Each retains the Customs revenue of the respective zones. The status of Tangier forms the subject of a separate agreement, conferring autonomy under an international council.
