HIGH SCHOOL BALL.
To the Editor. Sir, —That the High School scholars should have a little dunce there can be no objection, but that they should prevent those not fortunate enough to be invited from enjoying their usual repose, is very objectionable. Although living quite at the other end of the town, the bell that was rung' so continuously last night was perfectly audible, and kept several of my household awake. I do not blame the youngsters so much; it was no doubt done, without thought; but surely those in authority should have stepped in and prevented that which was part of the fun to them being a source of annoyance to dozens or probably scores of ' others.
