FOOTBALL.
THE LEAGUE GAME NORTH v, SOUTH TARANAKI. Owing to the Wellington League cancelling the match against Taranaki, the Taranaki League regret 9 the disappointment to the public and to football enthusiasts who were desirous of seeing a good open game. Wellington will play later in the season, and the public will also see New South Wales and Auckland later on in the season. The league has decided to play a North v. South match in place of the original fixture. The following are the teams:— South.—Moir, McKenna, Fitzgerald, E. Robinson, Morse, Henry, Gernofer, Narbey, Ward, Perrett (2), Betts, W. Robinson. North.—E. Stockman, M. Julian, T. Jones, Smith, H. Tocker, Gleeson, W. Roebuck, N. Kyle, Hancock, Walsh, Salway, Allan, and Hunt.
