NEW ZEALAND FARMERS' DAIRY UNION. By Telegraph—Press Associatieu. Palmerston N., .Last Night. The balance-sheet of the N.Z. Farmers' Dairy Union states that the quantity of butter made during the year was 652 tons 10 cwt, and of cheese 222% tons. New cheese factories ara being erected at Tokomaru and Newman. The butter manufacturing account shows that £58,05!) 12s fid had been paid for butter-fat during the season, an increase of £5122 over last, year's payments. Local sales of butter amounted to £24,300 and London sales to £45,805.
