FRANCE'S INTENTIONS. By Cable—Press Ajwoeiation—Copyxifht. Paris, August 11. German torpedo boats awaited the entry into the Baltic of M. Poincare, the French Premier, and subsequently four battleships appeared at intervals in the course of the afternoon and ialuted with 19 guns, also hoisting the French flag. This elaborate courtesy is commented on by the French press. According to the Ganlois. the Kaiser is aware that the Russian Government and the French Premier arc about to discuss how far it is possible for the triple entente to co-operate with the triple alliance with a view to common pacific action.
