ASERIOUS CONFLAGRATION. Constantinople, August 11. Tht earthquake caused the explosion of a lamp at Tychorlu, and a serious conflagration resulted. Three hundred hofbes have already been destroyed.

HAVOC CREATED. Constantinople, August 11. The Vali of Adrianople reports that the earthquake and fire caused great loss of life and personal injuries to many. Havoc was created in the Xyriophito and Sharkney districts, and necessaries are being sent. The shocks lasted upwards of a minute. The courthouse, police station and other public buildings at Sharkney were seriously damaged. The minarets of seven mosques and a number of shops and dwellings collapsed. A watchman and four soldiers were buried alive. FURTHER DETAILS. VILLAGES IN RUINS. FIFTEEN THOUSAND HOMELESS. THE DEATH ROLL. Received 12, 10.15 p.m. Constantinople, August 12. Fifteen thousand sufferers from the earthquake are homeless. Ample food, medicines and tents have been sent. A majority of the fires originated through the overturning of lamps. A thousand have been sent to hospitals at Constantinople. The returns are still incomplete. Many villages are simply smoking ruins. It is now stated that sixty were killed at Myrophiton, 150 at Horaganoa, and SO at Udjomakereh. Sixty were killed and 150 injured at Sharkney. The thermal springs at Dedesgatch have dried up. Fissures opened at Luleberg for 1500 yards, emitting sand, hot water and sulphurous vapor.
