HOCKEY.
At Inglewood this afternoon the playoff for the Northern Division ladies' hockey championship will take place, between the. Iteform (Kltham) and W'hakatika clubs. The two trams have tied with 10 points each, each baring won live matches and lost one. Whakatika will be represented by the following: Forwards, SI. Stohr, I. Thompson, 11. McEwen. L. Moiiat. and K. Johnston; halves. C. Penn, 0. Blanchard, -ind K. l'enn; backs, E. Andrews and M. Cork-ill; goal, M. Arthur; emergency, J. Sic Isaacs. As regards the men, no mutch will eventuate this week, but next Saturday a game will be played between Tataraimaka ami a combined team from the Egmont and St. Slary's clubs.
