LONDON DAIRY PRODUCE MARKET.

Messrs E. Griffiths and Co. are in receipt of the following market report from their London principals, Messrs Mills and Sparrow, dated June 28. 11)12 With the favorable weather that is now prevailing, the production of butter in this country, Ireland and on the Continent is increasing, and the future now to a large extent depends on the weather during the next six to eight weeks. Danish: Trade this week has been steady, and the quotation is therefore unchanged. Siberian: There are about 15,000 casks j to hand this week, and quotations are I about 2s per cwt. easier. t French: Supplies are increasing, and a reduction in price is expected. Irish: Supplies continue on the heavy side, the flush of the make being now on. Prices are lower than last week, and altogether the. butter now shows fairly good value.

Australian: Trade for this description is very quiet indeed. The goods are still coming to hand in a very irregular fashion, and as there is a plentiful supply of other butters just at the moment, buyers have no need to let themselves be inconvenienced in order to obtain colonial. Although there is plenty of work going oji at the docks, the lightermen's strike lias not yet been settled, and this is the cause of the slowness in delivery. New Zealand: The butter ex s.s. Remuera has been available this week. There were only 1200 boxes on board, and these were easily disposed of. Cheese—'Prices are. again a little lower. .Supplies in Canada are increasing, as is also the case in this country. However, values are still very satisfactory for the time of year. The s.s. Corinthic (which was due to dock yesterday) is ■ now at Plymouth, and it is' reported she will be kept there until some of the other steamers, which are now in dock, have completed their discharge.

A large quantity of hedge and shelter plants found a ready sale. Furniture sold at prices satisfactory to vendors. Fruit.—The market is very dull owing largely, no doubt, to the very cold weather. Apples are in plentiful supply, with very little demand.
