CANADIAN GRIEVANCES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Ottawa, August 7. The athlete Howard states that the Canadian Olympic team, while coming home, signed a round-robin containing a dozen grievances. The chief were that the president (Mr. Merrick) stayed in England and did not visit Sweden; that Hie secretary (Mr. Crow) was never there when wanted; that the trainer (Mr. Knox) was unduly overbearing, and illused Kerris. The signatories slate, that they will never compete under such conditions again. MAKING A BUSIXESS OF IT. London, August 7. The Rev. de Cotirey Lallan, secretary of the British Olympic Association, iiiUrviewed. said that it would be necessary to give an Olympic trainer £104)0 yearly, with four provincial subordinates at £250 each per annum, who would look out for likely youngsters and see that they were properly coached,
