Received 4, 5.5 p.m. Wool.—During the sales 147,500 bales were sold for the Home market, 71.000 for the Continent, 19,000 for the United States, and 28.000 were held over. Compared with the May sales , combing merinos were 5 to 7% per cent, higher, short wools par, fine medium crossbreds 7Vi per cent, higher, inferior 5 per cent, higher, scoured declined a halfpenny to a penny. Good merino lambs were 5d to V/i per cent, higher, faulty slightly in sellers.' favor, crossbreds unchanged. The market prospects are good. The following are the prices realised for the fleece portions of the clips named:—iMangama.hu. top price lid to ll 1 / 2 d, average 9%d; Tarndale, lid and lOd; Langridge, lOd and 9%d; Mahia, 10d and B%d. Copra. —-South Sea hags £24 ss. Cotton. —August-September 7.10 d. Jute. —August shipment, ,£2l 17s Gd. Hemp is unchanged. Rubber, 4s lid. Kauri.—The stock is 967 cases.
