Sydney, August 1. A half-caste Cingalese 'named Theo Gose was arrested "in connection with the death of Hoey, who was found shot in his tent. At the inquest on Hoey the arresting constable 'deposed that Theo Gose told him that Hoey and he occupied the tent. Early one morning they were visited by two men. who shot Hoey in his bed. They took the money, £2 Is in cash and a cheque for £2. They threatened Theo Gose (hat it would be the worse for him if he informed the police. Cartridges were found on Theo Gose, which fitted the rifle with which Hoey wa3 killed. The inquest is unfinished.
