The captain of 'the vessel Sjoeblomfiten. which nsctied Mikklesen and Iver*en (not Sversen) at Bass Rock Island, noticed a wooden po»t inscribed 1012. He followed the direction shown, and reached a lint, at which he knocked. Both men emerged nearly naked, carrying guns. Mikklesen had previously been ill. but Iversen dragged him in a sledge a hundred miles. They had ample ammunition, and were always able to procure food.
