THE REEFTON STRIKE. By Telegraph—Press Association, Reefton, Last Sight. The Inangahua Times reports that at a meeting of the Miners' Union yesterday the fourth weekly report from the federation secretary was most optimistic. It showed that support was coming from Australia in a far greater degree than indicated in the cables, and the outlook for striking and locked-out men was most hopeful. Independent of Australia contributions of over £3400 had been raised in four weeks—a record in New Zealand's industrial history.
