THE WILYRF LABORERS' STRIKE. Received 20, 11.45 p.m. Sydney, July 29. In tin* resumed eases of the XorthCoast Company's wharf laborers, charged with striking, counsel for the bulk of the men admitted that they had broken the award, and pleaded in mitigation of penalty that the employers had also broken their ngremeent. The President of the Arbitration Court said that the men had an award, and should have submitted themselves to the Court, asking for a penalty, instead of taking things in their own hands. They must be taught a lesson. Judgment was reserved.
