The Urilla, one of the Adelaide Company's newest cargo steamers, struck a rock in Whitsunday Passage, and was beached to prevent sinking. Nos. 1 and 2 holds are full of water. The crew are safe. IN A BAD POSITION. Received 27, 12.20 a.m. Brisbane, July 26. The Urilla is badly damaged. Her position is awkward, and it is impossible to tow her off under present conditions.
