UNITED LABORITES.
Auckland, Wednesday. The Auckland and Suburban Local Bodies Industrial Union of Workers, recetly formed by men outside the Federation of Labor, with which the Auckland General Laborers' Union is affiliated, has received a communication from the secretary of the Christchurch Union in reply to a request for a copy of their industrial agreement. The letter ran: "I am instructed to reply asking you to send names, addresses and photographs, if possible, of each of your members. Should we meet in Hell' we can avoid them, having no time for blacklegs, dead or alive."
The secretary of the Auckland Union replied in vigorous terms, regretting that they had been deceived in the assumption that they were communicating with genuine unionists and denouncing the tactics of the Federation of Labor.
