THE PARA ATROCITIES.
BRITAIN NOT IMPLICATED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 25, 1 a.m. Berlin, July 24. The Cologne Gazette, in an inspired article, states that not.a few newspapers have been misinformed by earlier versions of the Putumayo atrocities, and have wrongly accused Britishers. A statement made in the Prussian Diet showed that not a single Englishman participated in the atrocities. The article concludes by deprecating the efforts to create bad blood between Germany and Britain.
