ENTERTAINMENTS.

EMPfRE PICTURE PALACE. The Picture Palace was again well attended last evening, when Saturday's programme was heartily received. Of the picture programme much could be written did space allow, but regular patrons will be quite satisfied to know that tlve present selection ia in every way equal to its predecessors. The A.B. masterpiece, "The Girl and Her Trust," is an exciting railway drama, reproducing a sensational chase on the railway track and incidentally exciting throughout. "Under Burning Skies" is by the same makers, and an equally good subject. The scenic portion includes "Picturesque Holland," a really artistic and beautiful picture. The finest film in the comedy section is "Hogan'a Alley," This picture, constructed for laughable purposes only, tells of a battle royal between a Dutch and Irish family, who come to blows from a fight originating between their boys over a disputed marble. In the bedlam of excitement the boys are found eating the same apple, and the dumfounded parents see the folly of their conflict. The full programme will be shown to-night for the last occasion. For to-morrow's change the management has arranged to .show that great exclusive Tvalem Trish masterpiece, "Arrah Na Pogue." The film is 3000 ft long and is produced amongst the most beautiful scenery in Ireland.
