FARMERS' CONFERENCE.
NON-POLITICAL ATTITUDE. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Received 19, 9.20 p.m. Sydney, July 19. The Farmers' Conference, after two days debate as to whether they should support the Liberals or run a straightout country party, negatived the latter proposal, and decided to leave the question of political action to the executive. Mr. Ensor, of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, was welcomed. He said that the Farmers' Political Association in New Zealand had secured a return to the freehold tenure. He thought the' New South Wales farmers could do the same.
