The wharf laborers refused to work the North Coast Company's steamer Burringeor because of the employment of seamen in the steamer's holds-. ALLEGED BREACH OF AWARD. Received 19, 12.30 a.m. Sydney, July 18. After a meeting of the Coastal Steamship Association, the North Coast Company conceded the wharf laborers their demand. It is expected that work will be resumed to-morrow. The Association claims that the demand is a breach of the award.
