DEPORTING THE ROYALISTS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, July 14. The Government is deporting the Royalist conspirators to Timor or Angola. Military parties are scouring the hills on the frontier, and have had several encounters with the conspirators, sixteen of whom "have been shot at various points. Fifteen priests have been captured. Numerous domiciliary searches are being made. The Archbishop-of Evora has been arrested.
A small Royalist rising at Bellas, twelve miles from Lisbon, has been quelled and a quantity of arms and ammunition seized.
