WYANDOTTE CLUB. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hastings, Saturday. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Wyandotte Club, Mr. Jarvis (Christchurch) was re-elected president. The next annual show will be "held at Palmerston North. BUSH SICKNESS. Wellington, Saturday. For more than a year the Department of Agriculture has been engaged in experiments to discover the cause'of bush sickness, a disease affecting cattle m certain districts of the northern portion_ of the North Island. The first portion of the investigations has been of such a nature as to induce a belief that the cause of the malady has been ascertained, and in order to allow further practical experiments, Cabinet is considering a proposal to acquire an area of 300 acres at Mamaku, twelve miles from Rotorua, in the centre of the affected district.
