THE CULEBRA CUT DAMAGED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. New York, July 10. A great earth slide lias occurred in the Cnlebra Cut on the Panama Canal. The flooding of the cut is likely if another earth movement happens, in which event the opening of the Canal is certain to be delayed. The Cnlebra Cut is a very deep cutting at the highest point reached by the Canal. It is nine miles long and 300 feet wide at the bottom.
