Ambury's annual sale which opens tomorrow is caiusing quite a stir in the community. , Their windows are filled with everything to wear at startling prices. They report having had a good season, have large shipments of spring goods on the water, and any odd lines of winter goods have to be cleared regardless of cost. The establishment is closed to-day for marking down stock. The Melbourne is still in a position to supply a limited number of order# for men's blue cloth military coats, with red lining. Since the Imperial Authorities discarded the blue coat in favor of the khaki the supply of the former has become practically exhausted, and this season will probably be the last during which they may be obtained. Prices, 23s 6d and 27s fld. The event for which hundreds of drapery buyers throughout the province have been waiting, White and Sons' annual sale, commences this morning. Extensive preparations have been made to adequately mark the numerous bargains put forward, but it must still be borne in mind that every article in the store is reduced during the sale period. Correspondence is solicited from those who are unable to call on us in person.
