Mr. Lloyd George, in a letter to the Medical Correspondent, says that the doctors' cordial co-operation is necessary to obtain the best results for the Insurance Bill. The Government is prepared to do its utmost to secure co-operation. He invites the British Medical Association to further negotiate in the matter. Mr. Ramsay Mac Donald, in a letter, declared that the Laborites will vote for the inclusion of women in the Reform Bill, irrespective of the attitude of the Government. London, July !). Large demonstrations have taken place at Glasgow and Darlington against the Insurance Bill, demanding its repeal or postponement till the mind of the country is declared.
