SOUTH WALES WAGES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, July 8. Lord St. Aldwyn has awarded the South Wales coal getters a minimum wage of a fraction under seven shillings. INCENSED COLLIERS. Received 9, 9.25 p.m. London, July 9. The colliers are incensed at Lord St. Aldwyn's award. Mr. Carker, a member of the executive of the Miners' Federation, declares that the rates embodied in the award are more than a shilling below the average, leaving Go per cent, of the colliers unbenelited under the Minimum Wage Act.
