The Royalists unsuccessfully attempted to blow up Caminlia railway bridge. ' Madrid, July 8. A large quantity of ammunition was seized in a motor-car which was approaching the Portuguese frontier. The chauffeur had previously cut the telegraph lines between Spain and Portugal. A sunken boat wp.s found at Bostiero, near Corunna, with 44,000 cartridges aboard. REPRESSIVE MEASURES. Received 10, 12.23 a.m. Lisbon, July 9. Conceiro's and Coraeho's forces juncat Chaves, and were routed by the Republican troops after five hours fighting. There were considerable losses. The outbreak is attributed to a decision by the Spanish and Portuguese Governments to intern all Portuguese conspirators on the frontiers. Madrid, July 9. M. Canalajas, interviewed, said that orders had been issued for the repression of the Portuguese conspiracy on the Spanish side of the frontier. The whole of the movement was an absurd adventure that had failed.
