THE EMPIRE PICTURES. Despite the special counter attraction last nip-lit, the magnificent programme now being screened at the Empire Picture Palace drew another good audience. This .fine collection of cinematographic gems will be shown to-night for the last time. The dramas are of a particularly high order and are all by different firms, ea-ch of which is at the highest pinnacle in its own speciality. They embrace a wide range of subjects and are exquisitely and magnificently displayed. In yesterday's issue we gave a brief-resume of the two dramas which appeal most, viz., "Lead Kindly Light" and "The ' Handicap." 'The Scapegoat," a Selig i drama, and "Broncho Bill's Adventures," | an Essinnay drama, are also worthy of extended description, but space forbids. The scenic, topical, and humorous films are nil well diversified, and of the high standard that places- the Empire Theatre to the forefront in the picture world.
