Sydney, July 5. The Mount Morgan returns for June show that the copper reduction works treated 25,147 tons of ore and produced 740 tons of pure copper, 8467 ounces of gold. The gold works pro. duced 3012 ounces of gold. The total value of the output was £93,603. A FIRE AT BRISBANE. Brisbane, July 5. A fire gutted a six-storeyed building in Albert street, which was nnoccupied, but contained machinery. It was formerly the headquarters of the Queensland Milling Company. The insurances on the building and contents amount to £7BOO. TRANSCONTINENTAL RAILWAY. Adelaide, July 5. The dispute regarding the loan for the Trans-continental Railway has been settled.
