DEATH FROM A FALL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Wednesday. Isaac Cartwright, 58 years of age, who slipped on a staircase at his residence on .Saturday night, died in the hospital last night. A TRAIN ACCIDENT. Oamaru, Wednesday. The slow tv-iin from Thiaru ran down an old i:iaa, named • James Brodie, on the level crossing outside the town boundary this morning, with the result that he was severely injured. DEATH PROM SHOCK:. Christehurch, Last Night. A man named Thompson, employed at Lyttelton, fractured his arm a few days ago. Subsequently he was badly burned through his clothes catching fire from a candle, and he has now died from shock.
