I Mr. Runciman, President of the Board of Agriculture, in the House of Commons announced that he had proMinted the exhibition of cattle, sheep, swine and goats at the Royal Doncaster Show, owing to the outbreak of foot and mouth disease. Foot and mouth disease has broken out at Morpeth, Liverpool and Holyhead. There are also twenty-four animals affected near Dublin. TRIUMPHANT VAUDEVILLE. London, July 1. The King and Queen attended a command performance. on behalf of the Music Hall Benevolent Fund at the Palace Theatre, which was wonderfully decorated with three million roses. A fashionable audience was present, and thirty leading stars of the Halls took part in the performance. A queue of several hundreds waited from midnight. BETTING NEWS. , London, July 1. ! The Bishop of London has introduced a Bill in the House of Lords to suppress the publication of betting news, and a'lso of gambling advertisements. Tho Bill empowers the Postmaster-General to impound gambling matter.
